Toto Update
Toto has been with us for 3 weeks now and as you can see she's making herself at home.
The vet gave her a clean bill of health and estimated that she is 8 months old.
Toto's a quiet dog, though she does put on her tough-dog bark when another dog walks past our apartment on the street below.
She likes to run and when she really puts on speed she looks like a rabbit - this is due in part to her big ears and lack of tail.
She's due to have her rabies shot in a couple of weeks and that's all we'll need to bring her back home with us.
Look out Withrow Park, here comes Toto!

Jacaranda-landia
Jacaranda trees are native to
México, South and Central America, and
the Caribbean. They're also found in Africa,
India, Australia, and the U.S.
The flowers are a vibrant blue-purple colour.
Here in Aguas they started to bloom in early March.
Their blooms will disappear by the end of April leaving behind a humble leafy green tree.
Check out this mix of jacaranda, bouganvillea
and one other unknown variety with dark red blossoms.

The entire main square, Plaza Patria, is surrounded by Jacaranda trees.
